Greetings, hope you are enjoying our site. Here is a little background on who we are. I hail from Sunbury, Pennsylvania and am a graduate of Shikellamy High School. (Go Braves!). Wanda is from Boonville, North Carolina and is a graduate of Starmount High School (Go Rams!). Not long after high school, I followed my father's and grandfather's footsteps and joined our United States Air Force. In June of 1995 I met Wanda at my best friend's wedding. We kept in touch over the next few years until  I made the decision to pursue an officer's commission. After 7 years of service I left the Air Force and enrolled at East Carolina University (Go Pirates!) in Greenville, North Carolina. Incidentally this is where Wanda was living and going to school to be a teacher. Once there our relationship flourished. We married in June of 2000.   I then commissioned back into the Air Force as a 2nd Lt in Dec 2000.  We spent our next  3 years in Germany where we were blessed by the birth of our first son. Ryan David was born at Landstuhl Army Medical Center on 4 March 2003. It is here that Wanda began developing her association with  Stampin' Up! as well as scrapbooking. After leaving Germany in January of 2004, the Air Force sent us to Knoxville, Tennessee. My assignment there was to teach Air Force ROTC at the University of Tennessee (Go Vols!) It was here that I began to tinker with woodworking  and found I had some what of a talent for turning items on a lathe. On December 29th 2005 we were once again blessed with the birth of our second son Bryson Richard. We had a wonderful time in Knoxville. In February  of 2008 we moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming and F.E. Warren AFB. After two quick years in Cheyenne, it was off to Keesler AFB in Biloxi Mississippi where we should be for a few years.

So as you can see, with two boys and a career in the Air Force we are pretty busy. We started this site and this business as a way to show off our crafts and hopefully make a few dollars. Please take a look around and let us know if you would like to place an order.

Thank you for taking the time to visit  Bingaman Woodcrafts.

Sincerely,

Rich Bingaman
